How does the free trial work?

Start free. 14 days, no card. Every new account gets a 14-day trial with Growth-level features and 300 minutes of fair-use AI talk time. Add a card whenever you are ready; you are not charged until the trial ends. If you skip the card, your account simply pauses at day 14 with nothing owed.

What happens if I use all my included minutes?

Your AI keeps answering. Extra minutes are billed at your plan's overage rate ($0.25 per extra minute on Starter, $0.20 on Growth, $0.18 on Scale) on your next invoice. We email you a heads-up when you reach 90% of your included minutes, and we never cut off calls mid-month on an active plan.

How does annual billing work?

Annual plans cost 10 times the monthly price, so you get 2 months free. For example, Growth is $199 per month or $1,990 per year. You can switch between monthly and annual billing from your billing dashboard.

What counts as talk time?

Accepted Answer

Only actual conversation time, when your AI is talking with a caller. Each call is rounded up to the nearest minute. Ringing and busy signals do not count. If a voicemail is detected and skipped (no message left), a flat $0.01 detection fee applies instead of a per-minute charge.

Do I need a phone number?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you need at least one number for your AI to answer or call from. US local numbers are $2/mo, Canadian local numbers are $3/mo, and toll-free numbers are $10/mo, billed monthly and cancellable any time. You can also forward your existing business line to your Phone Stack number, so callers keep dialing the number they already know.

What is the Never-Miss Guarantee?

If a call your plan should have answered goes unanswered because of a Phone Stack failure, we credit you one month of your subscription. One credited month per verified claim. The full definition of a missed call is in our Terms of Service.

Question 7

Is HIPAA compliance available?

Accepted Answer

Yes. HIPAA-eligible deployments with a signed BAA are available as an add-on on the Scale plan and on Enterprise. Contact us and we will set it up with you; it is not a self-serve toggle because the BAA needs to be signed first.

Can I change plans or cancel?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Upgrade or downgrade any time from your billing dashboard; upgrades take effect right away. You can cancel any time and your plan runs through the end of the billing period you already paid for. There are no long-term contracts on self-serve plans.

What happens after the trial if I do not subscribe?

Your AI stops answering calls and your dashboard becomes read-only, with your call history and recordings intact. We hold your phone number for 30 days. Subscribe at any point to pick up right where you left off.
